POWERS OF ATTORNEY

Powers of Attorney: Welcome

DELEGATE YOUR AFFAIRS

It is not always possible to deal with your personal  business transactions overseas. You may not be willing, or able to travel to deal with these matters. I can assist you with the notarisation and legalisation of  powers of attorney delegating your authority for a third party to act on your behalf and to ensure that the documentation is legally binding in the relevant country. Get in touch with me today to discuss powers of attorney.

APPOINTING AN ATTORNEY

You can choose the identity of your attorney, although often it makes sense for the attorney to be the lawyer who is dealing with your transaction overseas.  Whoever you appoint, it must be someone you trust completely.  Remember your attorney will stand in your shoes and can legally carry out any transaction which you could undertake if you were present in person.

FOREIGN WILLS

You may have money, or own property, overseas. If so, it is important that you make a will which is valid in that country in order to deal will your assets in the event of your death. Many countries require your will to be notarised and legalised if it is signed outside the country in question.

I also deal with business documentation and those working overseas.
